Statement from the Board of Barnet Overseas Students Housing Association (BOSHA)

At Barnet Overseas Students Housing Association (BOSHA), we recognise the critical importance of effectively responding to complaints as a key aspect of providing quality service to our residents. As a provider of housing for overseas students, we understand that many of our residents are new to the UK and may face unique challenges in adjusting to life in a new country. It is therefore essential that we listen carefully to their concerns, respond promptly, and take action to resolve issues that may arise during their time with us.

We are committed to ensuring that all complaints are handled transparently, fairly, and in line with the highest standards of practice. As an organisation dedicated to supporting international students, we are particularly focused on maintaining a welcoming and responsive environment. Our residents’ experiences and feedback play a vital role in shaping how we deliver our services and improve the quality of life within Nansen Village.

We acknowledge that handling complaints effectively is not just about resolving individual issues, but also about learning from these experiences to make meaningful service improvements. By addressing complaints in a timely and respectful manner, we aim to provide a safe, supportive, and comfortable living environment for all our residents.

The Board is committed to continually reviewing and improving our complaints handling processes to ensure that they meet the needs of our residents and reflect our core values as an organisation. We believe that this approach is essential to fostering trust and ensuring that we provide the highest standard of housing and support for our overseas students.
